The Center for Mindful Living is a 501c3 non-profit that educates the community about the benefits of mindfulness and provides opportunities for people to develop a mindfulness practice. These practices lead to more joy, balance, and compassion.
Our mission is to empower people to decrease their stress and increase their well-being – pretty simple and straightforward! We offer online mindfulness classes and workshops, but perhaps more importantly, we are a community of people. We come from all walks of life – moms, dads, business people, students, pastors, teachers, christians, buddhists, jews, atheists, doctors, patients… you get the idea. The thing that unites us is a desire to “do” this thing called life a little better. We aren’t going to ask you to change your religion, or what you do for a living, or even the way you dress, we focus pretty specifically on the way you use your mind.
Whether we like it or not, life is hard. Mindfulness helps to make it less so.
