MINDFULNESS 101: MINDFULLY EMPOWER YOUR LIFE

Are you looking for ways to reduce stress or anxiety, become more present, improve your focus or enhance your wellbeing? Whatever you seek, Mindfulness 101 is your first step towards becoming more mindfully empowered in your life. Join us for a 4-week program consisting of four 75 minute classes offering simple, easy to understand instruction in the basic elements of mindfulness meditation in an intimate communal environment. No previous experience is necessary to join.

Each class will include guided meditations, instructive talks and group discussion with feedback. Every week you will receive homework suggestions to help you incorporate and skillfully apply the teachings and practices covered in the class into your daily life. Once the class starts, you will receive access to a dedicated learning platform containing home practice materials which includes downloadable guided meditations.

Two decades of published research indicate that the majority of people who practice mindfulness have a greater ability to cope more effectively with both short- and long-term stressful situations. By learning to actively participate in the management of their own health and well-being, many practitioners report they are better able to manage stress, fear, anger, anxiety and depression both at home and in the workplace. People taking this class come from all walks of life, but they share one thing in common: the desire to find more balance, peace and happiness in their lives. We hope you can join us!

MINDFULNESS 201: DEEPEN YOUR PRACTICE

Next Session: Tuesdays 6pm – 7:30pm on January 12, 19, 26 and February 2 and 9, 2021

Are ready to deepen and strengthen your mindfulness practice, but not sure where to begin? You don’t have to do it alone. Mindfulness 201 offers the opportunity to explore the inner workings of the mind through clear guidance, communal support and practices to integrate into your daily life. Join us for this five-week program consisting of five 90 minutes classes, offering practices and tools to deepen and strengthen one’s mindfulness practice. It builds on the foundations learned during either Mindfulness for Beginners, MBSR or Mindfulness 101. It is recommended that participants have completed any one of these courses and/or have a regular, personal meditation practice prior to attending this offering.
