We are partnering with our friends at the Church of the Good Shepherd to be able to hold the camp both in and outdoors to provide space for social distancing. Upon registration, parents will receive information about COVID-related guidelines to keep everyone safe and healthy throughout the camp.
Mindfulness for Me Summer Camp is a weeklong camp designed to help kids balance themselves in response to the ups and downs of daily life. Kids will learn to sharpen the ability to tune in to the body’s cues as well as begin to cultivate more awareness of the world around. Camp includes a daily healthy snack.
Appropriate for rising 3rd through 7th graders.
Playful activities we will explore include:
- Basics of attention
- Mindful listening, seeing, tasting, smell and touch
- Mindful movement
- Creative crafts
- Active listening
- Kindness to self and others
- Opportunities for quiet reflection
- Value of practice
Cost is per child and covers all materials.

Led by Beth Vandergraph. Beth is both an educator and a student of children. She has worked with children for more than 20 years in a variety of settings, has practiced yoga for nearly a decade and began teaching young people about mindfulness 3 years ago.
