Mindfulness for Me is fun-filled week of activities designed to foster healthy ways to cope with the changes of a growing body and mind, and the stressors that kids experience today. Ideal for sensitive kids, perfectionists, worriers or kids that struggle with attention.
This camp will help kids begin to understand the basics of how their minds work and teach them some practices that they can use to reduce their stress and anxiety, while boosting their connectedness to others.
Appropriate for rising 2nd to rising 6th graders, to help them learn to become aware of their body, thoughts and feelings and to develop some tools to positively deal with life changes and other people.
Activities will include:
- Basics of attention
- Mindful listening, seeing, tasting, smell and touch
- Mindful Movement
- Arts and crafts
- Active listening
- Kindness to self and others
Cost: $145 per child, all materials included

NOTE: Thank you for choosing the Center for Mindful Living's Mindfulness Camp for your child! Please fill out the registration form when you register. We will also need the Authorization and Release form signed and submitted by the first day of camp. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early on the first day with your camper to ensure that we have time to greet and process everyone. Thank you!

Beth is both an educator and a student of children. She has worked with children for more than 20 years in a variety of settings, including public school classrooms and has practiced yoga for a decade. She is inspired by the spontaneity, receptivity, and courage children bring to new moments.
